At Alpine Designs we believe that the term "Women Specific Geometry" is misleading when it pertains to bicyle frame design. Having fit more than 3,000 men and women to bikes over the last 15 years we have come to one very solid conclusion, every body is different. Rarely are there ever two people with exactly the same torso, arm, inseam and flexibility dimensions. There is "Rider Specific" geometry for both men and women and that specific geometry is attained only by upgrading specifically to "Full Custom Geometry." We offer Full Custom for an extra $150 and it is worth every penny and then some. Don't be fooled by marketing that states "Women Specific Geometry" because we often size a woman with a proportionally long torso and short inseam then turn around and fit a man with a very short torso and proportionally long inseam. Purchasing any new bike frame without first consulting a qualified fit expert is the first and biggest mistake you will make especially if you have been mislead by the term "Women Specific Geometry."
