Her dad's bike was the "Senior Gong." But he didn't opt for the "Bubblegum Pink" paint job on his. The frame is handcrafted from True Temper Verus tubeset, Columbus Zona S bend stays and it features a Fox F80X fork, matching King pink headset, AD handbuilt wheelset, Magura Julie hyd. disc brakes and a WTB Speed She crmo saddle. (photo credit: Chris Guibert) Another strong bike for another strong woman. This is Jyl Feuling's custom hardtail. It was built in summer of 2002. Of course no expense was spared here. The fillet brazed frame is crafted from True Temper OX Platinum tubes and Columbus Zona stays. This frame features Salsa crmo dropouts and a wicked purple and green paint job with matching Race Face Carbon cranks. A matching King headset and Wheelset. The wheel set was a wedding present from husband Toby and it sports King ISO disc hubset, purple alloy nipples, Marwi Tye Dye spokes, Ritchey OCR rims, and WTB exi-wolf tires. Topping it off is a Race Face XY post and a Ti rail WTB speed she saddle making this a pretty eye catching and very fun to ride bicycle. What did it cost? It's priceless baby! (photo credit: Chris Guibert) Jay Zmuda received this team issue SCR road bike when he was captain of the Univ of Idaho cycling team back in 2003. The bike weighed just under 17 lbs. fully built. The frame is fillet brazed with True Temper s3 tubing. It had Breeze drops, bi-ovalized down tube, tear drop top tube and ultra thin wall seat and chainstays. The component group is Ultegra, a Ritchey WCS top kit, wheelset and a Alpha Q fork. (photo credit: Woods Wheatcroft) John Hansen from the bay area ordered this custom SXC softail frame after renting a bike from us while visiting Sandpoint for a week. The frame is constructed from OX Platinum tubeset and features custom valved Risse Racing Genesis air shock. A King "Patriot" headset, Manitou fork and Thomson stem were also purchased. (photo credit: Gardner Wilcox) Another SXC softail with Risse Genesis shock. This one was built in 2004 for John "Feaver" Waldrup back in his racing days. The bike was top of the line featuring Fox F80X fork, King dark blue headset, Handbuilt wheels, Race Face cranks and seatpost, Sram X9 drivetrain and a Selle Italia Flite saddle. (photo credit: Gardner Wilcox) And yet another SXC softail with Risse Genesis shock. This one was done up in 2005 for display at the North American Handmade Bike Show. (photo credit: Chris Guibert) Here is an SCR road frame built out of OX Platinum tubing. It was TIG welded and custom painted with Maple Leaf stencils. (photo credit: Chris Guibert) A custom SCR tig welded with OX Platinum tubing and a "Vegas Orange" paint job. This picture doesn't adequately show it but the OX Plat double taper seat stays are incredible. Wh needs carbon anyways? (photo credit: Chris Guibert) Dan Wohl now owns two AD mountain bikes. And his latest pictured here was handmade using True Temper Verus tubing, Columbus Zona Stays, Breeze drops and finished off with a Blue to silver fade. (photo credit: Chris Guibert) The "Mr. T" is owned by Chris Thompson. It was built in the winter of 2004 and the frame is made from OX Platinum tubing. The bike features a lot of sweet Ritchey parts, a King headset, handbuilt wheels and an Alpha Q carbon fork. (photo credit: Chris Guibert) This is a pretty cool and upright stylie bike we built for a customer. It has XC mountain bike geometry with and extended head tube and adjustable stem for that upright positioning some riders like. The tubeset is actually 4130 crmo aircraft tubing that we bent gracefully so the bike could have these sweet lines. It has mechanical disc brakes and a full complement of rack and fender braze ons. This was made in 2004. We call this model the "Adventure." Salsa crmo drops and a painted to match Surly cross fork makes this cyclo commuter / tourer a dandy. The "Cold As Ice Blue" sparkles like none other in the bright sunlight. The wheelset is handbuilt using IRD rims and some trick lacing patterns. A no nonsense 105 gruppo, Selle womens specific saddle and King headset round the package out nicely. (photo credit: Gardner Wilcox) When Pat ordered her Cross Boss she decided to get her husband one as well. His fillet brazed frame was built with Verus HT tubing and Zona chain stays. Note the side attachment seatstays for a cool traditional look. The frame and fork are custom painted to match. One side of this bike is actually green and the other red with a gold stripe all the way down the middle on each tube. The "Rasta" 'ting ya know! Nice parts and handbuilt wheels make this Cross Boss a keeper. (photo credit: Chris Guibert) This touring frame was built up as a display sample for the North American Handmade Bike Show in 2005. The fork is actually a Surly that has been custom painted to match the frame. The paint job hopefully reflects our love for all things Guiness. The lugs are Henry James investment cast and the tubeset is True Temper Verus HT. (photo credit: Chris Guibert) An SXC frame with OX Plat tubeset and Risse Genesis shock. The paint job is a Rasta theme and the chainstays feature a chainring stencil thing. This was built for John Traynor in winter of 2003. The bike was ridden hard but unfortunately it flew off his roof rack at 80+ MPH and John is now riding an indestructible Ti hardtail we built for him. (photo credit: Chris Guibert) Here is one of the first Cross Boss frames we ever built. It was custom made for a customer with a matching fork in 2001. The tubeset is OX Platinum and the fork blades are OX Plat too. This bike was destined for the cross courses of Southern California. (photo credit: Chris Guibert) This is an aggressive XC hardtail made for a customer in 2004. We called it the "Flo" model. True Temper Verus HT tubes, Zona stays and an oversized Paragon BB shell made this disc ready ripper real fun to ride. (photo credit: Chris Guibert) A kick ass hardtail we call the "Pure" model. The OX platinum tubeset is fillet brazed and the rear end features a wishbone seatstay and Zona S bend chain stays. Top notch components like a Fox 100 mm fork, Sram X0 drivetrain, King headset and hubset, Race Face crank, stem and seatpost and Marwi Ti spokes. (photo credit: Chris Guibert) < Back to top
