My name is Toby Feuling. I own and operate Alpine Designs Bikes in Sandpoint, Idaho USA. I participated in my first bike race atop a yellow Schwinn Stingray at the young age of seven in the year 1977.

I have competed in many bike races thru the years including ten or more 24 hour races. Me and my AD BIKES team have particpated in the 24 Hours of Moab seven times including the first ever 24 Hours of Moab way back in 1995. The last time I rode the Moab 24 Hour race in 2001 I competed solo on a single speed riding 165 miles and climbing nearly 15,000 feet. At that race I was only one of two single speeders in the solo class racing along side Pro's like Rishi Grewal, Nat Ross and Dawes Wilson. My personal best for 24 hours solo was in 2001 at The Round The Clock 24 hour race in Spokane, Wa with a ride totalling more than 220 miles over 20 laps in just over 24 hours.

In recent years my wife Jyl and I have been building a custom straw bale home on 25 acres that is completely off - grid. We utilize a hydro energy system that I designed and developed for most all of our power needs. Jyl and I have a 1 year old daughter named Hailey and a fearless trail dawg named Rocky.

Alpine Designs bikes are designed and built in the USA. Myself and the others who work on the bikes are all riders who are passionate about the sport and the lifestyle. When you buy a product from Alpine Designs you are supporting a small and independent rider owned company.
